Ms. Stevens has built a long body of work in entertainment, community and business. She has consistently created opportunities as an executive director, collaborator, creator and business partner. Ms. Stevens has served others for over twenty-five years. She has been able to survive and thrive in industries where males dominate. Suga-T Stevens has had the pleasure of advocating for causes that encourage health, wellness, safety, social justice, along with economic empowerment of communities, businesses, organizations, leaders, artists, individuals and staff. She advocates for moms of children with autism, the elderly facing ageism, women, along with promoting healthy and safe communities.
Ms. Stevens has served as a program developer, CEO, author, life skills and transformation expert, as well as a wellness and vision partner coach. Although she has an extensive body of work in entertainment, her multi-faceted national multi-platinum selling projects and relevance still stands today and is well honored as an influencer and Guinness friendly record. Ms. Stevens was able to execute her success in a span of 36 years, holding 20 albums and continues to expand her reach even further. She paved the way for women like her in the music industry and has been linked to many successful entities throughout her career producing film and TV projects and music projects. Although she is admired as "The First Lady " of her family record label and successful music group, mostly known for a variety of platinum and gold hit songs, her true heart and pride comes from making the decision to re-invent her brand and become a more positive role model to her family as a leader.
Suga-T endured the struggle, challenges, adversity and abuse that came early on in her life and when she sacrificed her successful music career in order to obtain more wisdom, knowledge and time with her children, while earning up to a double Master’s Degree. She is currently working on a Doctrine. Ms. Stevens has experienced violence and understands dysfunctional foundations. She knows that one is vulnerable during transition. Suga-T was a teen mom, and is currently a grandmother of six. Her life experience makes her able to appeal and relate to a well-rounded audience. She is aware of barriers those in transition can face and has a keen insight and sensitivity regarding the needs of various ethnicities and beneficial solutions for those the WORK It Well Project currently serves. She understands how important it is to have a healthy support team, especially during challenging times. She also understands how important it is for her to use her nationally respected brand to bring positive change to communities.
Ms. Stevens is an author of two books and lives by the “our life is a business” motto. She is currently working on a few more books to make sure she does her part in sharing knowledge and love. She strongly believes that receiving knowledge and love yield power and without it, we often fall through the cracks.
